Details and Features

Dan Johnson with a friend that seems to like
the bag too.

Specially designed for river fishing, this bag conveniently carries everything you need for fishing from a small craft or on foot. It's cooler and lighter-weight than a fishing vest, yet does everything that a vest can do. It's more practical and useful than larger, overbuilt tackle bags costing twice as much. Our Stream Bag does the job better with less bulk, weight and cost.

This is the best tackle bag I've ever had... better and handier than other fancy high-tech bags, and at half the price. I got two bags, one for fly tackle and one for spin fishing. Now I'm ready to hit the stream anytime.

How much tackle do you really need to carry to the stream?

When trekking or wading or floating your favorite smallmouth stream, it just doesn't make sense to carry 50 or 60 lures and all the items you might use once a season. You can carry everything you actually need for a day of river fishing in our Smallmouth Angler Stream Bag.

Our bag easily carries everything
you need for a day on stream

This versatile bag is lightweight and will ride on your hip or back, carrying your tackle and giving you easy access to all your items. It won't get in your way or slow you down, so you can cover the water and get to the best pools.

Tim Holschlag and the Smallmouth Angler Team have tested this bag while stream fishing, lake wading, saltwater fishing and even fishng rugged mountain streams in South Africa. It conveniently carries everything we need, and withstands all the rough treatment we can dish out.

The Stream Bag is lightweight, versatile, and low cost.
This is an angling accessory that really makes sense

Lyn uses the bag as a waist pack

"I used to always wear a fishing vest, but once I tried this new bag it was so much easier, lighter and cooler. I use it as a waist pack and I quit wearing a vest. If I'm in my kayak, I can hop out and wade fish with all my tackle on my hip."

"I started stream fishing when I could barely stumble along behind my Dad. He had been chasing stream smallies since he was a kid and was my role model for a lifetime of angling. His only tackle carrier was a heavy canvas creel bag, so I had to have one too. Bags like his were no longer available, so we found a WWI gas mask bag at a military surplus store. It was great. All it had was an adjustable shoulder strap, inner divider and snap-down flap. I could get every piece of tackle I owned in it.

Since then I have run the gambit of vests, chest packs, back packs, belly packs, etc. You name it, and I have tried it, but I always came back to a simple shoulder strap bag.

With today's trend toward high tech, often over-designed fishing tackle systems, our Smallmouth Angler Stream Bag will do everything a tackle system costing at least twice as much will do."
